Longing English School, which lays in Maoming city in Guangdong Province of China, was built up on January, 2003. Maoming is located in the southwestern part of Guangdong Province. Facing the South China Sea to the south, the city neighbors Yunfu to the northeast, Yangjiang to the east, Zhanjiang to the southwest, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to the northwest. It enjoys a subtropical monsoon climate, with a moderate and pleasant temperature. The average temperate is above 22℃. 

The city has a well-established transportation infrastructure. Maoming is at the intersection of the Sanshui-Maoming Railway with the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, and of the Guangzhou-Kowloon and Hechun-Maoming Railways with the Liuzhou-Zhanjiang Railway. State Highway 207, State Highway 325 and the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Highway all run across the city, connecting it with other cities in the Pearl River Delta. Maoming Port, a Grade I port, handled 16.8 million tons of cargo in 2007.

Maoming is a top fruit producing base in China. It has plentiful high-yield fruits, such as bananas, litchi and longan. It has abundant oil shale and kaolin resources. With a long coastline, it is also rich in aquatic resources, such as shrimp, fish and crabs.

Longing English school is in the No.23 building of Mingshuai Dress Shopping Mall in Renmin South Road of Maoming, which covers 1,200 square meters and have more than 20 classrooms which are equipped with color TV, VCD, sound recorders, projectors and so on. In addition, air-conditions, fans drinking machines, medical service and washrooms are all provided.

At the first place, Longing focus on the education of children and early teenagers. Recommended by national education department, we take the 《Cambridge Young Learners English》as our main teaching materials.
